There are good views of Austin to be had from the south side of Town Lake which is a bit uphill. This is taken from South Lamar. You can see the downtown skyscrapers in the distance and a nice white VW bus in the foreground. Mostly I like all the wires and poles and cars in this one. ¶ posted by alice at 9:00 AM

It's funny how most of the time you don't really notice the poles and the wires, but when you start looking you realize they're EVERYWHERE.
Everyone needs to be in Austin! It is the best place in the whole world (it is OK to say that when you live here :-)
