You're right- this isn't Austin. The truth is, we're temporarily out of Austin pictures, having used them all up while posting from the UK back then for a couple of weeks. Meanwhile, I thought you might like to see this- it was taken in the south coast seaside town of Lyme Regis (which I don't think has a Daily Photo blog yet...), on a day with some really amazing light shifts and effects and is definitely one of my favourites from our trip. The light in the UK is so different from in Texas, creating all kinds of shades and variations, not just "very bright sun" and "dazzling sunset". ¶ posted by alice at 7:38 PM

Wow! That's a wonderfully composed shot with so many things to love (like the enlongated shadows on the sidewalk in the foreground. . .). Kudos on and excellent post!
